Description

Contractor shall provide a complete and functional domestic water heating system for B205, B207. See attached sketches for locations. Work shall include but is not limited to: "Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of the four existing water heaters. "Remove and properly dispose of domestic water piping and specialties connecting the existing water heaters to the system which will hinder installation of new water heaters. "Maintain domestic hot water supply to each building throughout the project duration. "Do not generate "dead legs" in the piping system during removal and installation of the water heaters. "Replace the 4 existing vertical domestic water heaters, two each in B205 and B207. The construction cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable NAICS code is 238220 and the size standard is $14 million. Award will be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable offer to the Government. Evaluation factors will include price related factors as well as technical factors of management approach and past performance. The solicitation package will be issued on/or about February 20, 2015. The date for receipt of offers is scheduled for March 13, 2015. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings, may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website http://www/fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely on this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. This requirement is Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) set-aside, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) may also provide a proposal. All offerors must ensure registration in SAM at http://www.sam.gov and that it is current and accurate. In addition all VOSB and SDVOSB offerors must be registered and verified in the Department of Veterans Affairs Vetbiz database at www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time the proposal is submitted and at the time of award
