- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award a single-source, three year, Blanket Purchase Agreement in support of Calibration Services and supplies that interface with the Government ™s Biodynamic Lab Data Acquisition System. The FAA intents to issue an award to Diversified Technical Systems (DTS) from Seal Beach, California for services and supplies to support the Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMIs) Aeromedical Protection & Survival Research Biodynamic Lab (AAM-630). This procurement is considered to be single-source based on the fact that DTS is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and sole distributor of DTS equipment and is the only authorized dealer to service the equipment. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation or Request for Proposal. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
