Description

This is Phrase II of the renovations for the new Inpatient Surgery Unit, which consist of 13 new patient rooms, 2 adjoining ante rooms and a nurse station for the Surgical Department at the Kansas City VA Medical Center located in Kansas City, Missouri. This acquisition will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. For the ease of long term maintenance, the KCVA Medical Center has been transitioning to modular casework. This allows the hospital to replace parts of a fixed casework versus replacing the entire millwork and undergoing construction activity to address issues that arise with part failure and damage that occurs over time. This acquisition is for a onetime buy and anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about March 6, 2015. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by this agency.
