Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 8), James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa, FL is currently seeking information from any vendor that can provide the following service. MedView DeltaViewer Software Support Service Background: The current system; DeltaViewer, in place was developed by MedImage Inc. It is currently installed on devices within the Nuclear Medicine department. A software support service subscription is required to ensure that the current system maintains performance levels that meets or exceeds the manufactures specifications. Description of Requirement: Contractor shall provide software support service as a subscription. The Software Subscription will provide for Phone Technical Support via Phone, Fax or Email, Application Software Upgrades on CD and the ability for Nuclear Medicine Staff to make or burn CD's from the viewing application for easy data retrieval and referral. The Contractor shall obtain, have on file, and make available to its FTE(s), all operational and technical documentation (e.g., operational and service manuals, schematics, and parts lists) which are necessary to meet the performance requirements. The Contractor will provide on Demand Technical Phone Support, to Nuclear Medicine and Biomedical Engineering Staff as needed. The Contractor will provide all Upgrades to Software as it becomes available to keep equipment performing within the manufacturer's specifications. All software upgrades must meet or exceed manufacturer's factory specifications to maintain compatibility with all Med View systems presently in place to include future performance and reliability upgrades. All removable media materials (laptop, DVD/CD, USB drive, etc.) will need to be scanned on site with approved anti-virus by OI&T or Biomedical staff and approved for use prior to the start of any work. Coverage is required 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including holidays. Qualifications: The Contractor is considered the subject matter expert in all things related to the Application software and will provide to the best of their ability resolution to all software related questions by the Nuclear Medicine Staff. They will make sure all problems with said application software will be resolved in a timely matter and to the best of their ability. They will provide an upgrade to existing software when it becomes available and via phone support assistance with its installation, and provide solutions to all issues related to the software installation and its activation. The contractor shall comply with the provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. ?
