This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification small veteran owed business, small disadvantage, or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning (size standard of $14 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the GSA e-buy website. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The statement of work outlines the tasks and duties required of the contractor in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) for a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment and Siemens Apogee Building automation System preventive maintenance and intervening maintenance and repair services agreement (all parts, labor and travel) for all HVAC units in buildings 304, 345, 401, 402, 500, 501 & 507, Fisher House and Distant Patient Lodging at VAGLAHS. Maintenance Services includes preventative maintenance, service calls, call back service and emergency service. The equipment is located, owned and operated by the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, 110301 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, Ca 90073 The contractor shall be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation system. Contractor shall also be required to have access, operate and maintain the building automation system. For the convenience of the government, the contractor will also be required to access the building automation system onsite and offsite. The building automation system is not associated with any patient care information and the risk of a security breach is minimal. The contractor's access will be limited to having access to Outlook for e-mail communication purposes, the internet and the Siemens Apogee Building Automation System. If you are interested, and are capable of providing the required services please provide the requested information as indicated below. Is your firm a small certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small or veteran owned small business? Also provide a brief summary of how your company meets the needs of the Government. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
