Description
Uniform Pricing Matrix DAF Police Uniforms This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price lists are being requested for establishing a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAF_Guard_Uniforms and it is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement will be solicited as a brand name or equal, small business set aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 315210, Other Clothing Stores and the size standard is 500 employees. The Department of the Air Force, 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, SD intends to establish a single award, firm-fixed price type Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Guard Uniforms. A description of the items required is attached to this RFQ and is labeled as Uniform Pricing Matrix. Evaluation and Award Methodology: Acquisition of items will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to base award determination on the offer that provides the lowest priced quote to the Government and meets the tailoring requirements, turn around time, and can provide all required items listed in the uniform pricing matrix. Quoters are advised that the Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of any contract, by entering the potential awardee DUNS number into each database. Failure to complete the registration will result in elimination from consideration for award. Description: The contractor shall furnish guard uniforms for delivery and/or pick-up when requested by an authorized caller. The period of performance of this BPA shall be a 60 month ordering period starting when a fully executed contract is completed. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to provide the requested uniforms and equipment items for the Department of the Air Force Civilian Guards assigned to Ellsworth AFB, SD. The contractor shall have the ability to alter the clothing items as ordered by the Air Force at no additional charge (i.e. pant length). The contractor shall have the ability to produce/reproduce all patches, badges, and rank insignia. All patches, badges, and rank insignia are to be sewn on specific uniform pieces as specified by the authorized caller. The requested turn around time for all uniform items is 48 hours after receipt of order. SUBMISSION OF PRICE LIST: Price List must be received no later than 10:00a.m. MST Monday, 2 March 2015. The anticipated date of award will be approximately 9 March 2015. Price List will only be accepted by email. Price list must include all documentation to support quoter's ability to provide the requested items.
