Description
This is a SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Competitive quotes are being requested under N66001-15-T-0103. This requirement is set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 511210 and business size standard $38.5 million. This is a brand name requirement for VMWare Vpshere Software renewal listed below in ITEM 0001. No substitute will meet the requirements. See attached justification. To be considered for award, the offeror certifies that the products being offered are original, new, and Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant VMWare products, and that the products are eligible for all manufacturer warranties and other ancillary services or options provided by the manufacturer. Offerors are required to submit documentation with the offer identifying its supply chain for the products or offers will not be accepted. In addition to supply chain information, offerors shall also state that all products are new, TAA compliant, and in their original VMWare condition. By making an offer, the offeror also consents to cancellation of award if, upon inspection after delivery, any products provided are not recognized or acknowledged by the manufacturer as new and original products that are eligible for warranties and all other ancillary services or options provided by the manufacturer. ITEM 0001: VMware Vpshere 4.1: MFR PART NUMBER: VS4-VS41-EXS-MYSUP-F (US Federal - VMware vSphere 4.1 Extended) Basis for award: The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order. This is a lowest price, technically acceptable procurement, i.e. award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting the requirements in this solicitation. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69 (09/03/13) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DPN. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.
