- Contracting Office Address: Defense Logistics Agency, Logistics Operations, DLA Aviation - Richmond, 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, VA 23297-5000 Description: This solicitation will contain Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO). The solicitation will consist of one base year and four option years: Destination inspection required Quantity variance is zero. Solicitation will be unrestricted, other than full and open competition procedures. The NSN is 6220-01-101-4158. Delivery is 78 day's ARO. FOB Origin. The sources of supply are: GRIMES AEROSPACE COMPANY (72914) P/N B-6182-7 SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORP (78286) P/N 70553-02006-103 The estimated annual demand for this item is 1,350 each. Specifications or plans related to the procurement described are not available at DLA Aviation. The solicitation and award will be made under FAR 13.5 procedures. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Annual updates to your registration will be required. For registration procedures and information please visit the World Wide Web at https://www.sam.gov. The solicitation will close 10 days from posting date of this synopsis. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is February 24, 2015. Surplus dealers and small business dealers and distributors having existing stocks of surplus or newly manufactured material are invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material, or adequate traceability documentation to show product is acceptable. In addition, respondents should identify quantity available and price. DLA will consider all such responses and may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction.
