- FSA SBC Event USDA OSDBU Event: Small Business Connections Supporting Small Business: Doing Business with USDA Farm Service Agency The Small Business Connections is an outreach program of USDA's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). Each month small businesses are invited to attend a meeting to network, learn from one another and make critical connections to help expand small businesses interationts with USDA. Event attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a ninety minute event full of learning discussions led by program and small business procurement officials from USDA. The Small Business Connections is for your company if: - You wish to expand knowledge of USDA Farm Service Agency's service delivery programs and priorities to assure sustainable agriculture today and in the future; - You want to network with other small and large businesses; and - You desire to build relationships with Small Business Specialists. During this event, small business owners will hear from senior Farm Service Agency (FSA) procurement officials who will provide invaluable insights on their mission and an overview of the Agency's Fiscal Year 2015 business plan. Please join us on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am to meet USDA Farm Service Agency's senior procurement leadership and hear their insight about the many service dilery programs USDA has to engage small business in empowering our nation's growers and farmers. During this event you will hear from senior USDA representatives who will discuss trends that provide insight on projected FY15 business opportunities. There is no charge to attend, but PRE-REGISTRATION IS A MUST. To do so, please visit: www.usda.gov/osdbu and proceed to "Our Outreach Events" located on the left of the screen. Then select "Small Business Connections" Be sure to select the Small Business Connections, March 10, 2015 event. Space is limited to 75 participants. If weather should become a factor the day of the event, please check with local news to verify if the Federal government is closed or delayed.
