Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. 1) THIS REQUEST IS FOR PARTS AND MATERIALS TO COMPLETE EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO COOLING TOWER CELLS #1 AND #2 in accordance with statement of work. 2)The solicitation, VA257-15-Q-0635 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) Firm Fixed Price contract. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) is being used for the solicitation. 3)Estimated Period of Performance is March 15, 2015 through May 15, 2015. 4)PROPOSAL DUE DATE: Offerors must submit quotes via email before the due date of March 02, 2015 at 12:00 PM CDT. Quotes that are mailed, faxed or late will not be accepted. Quotes should be emailed to cory.chandler2@va.gov. The Audie L Murphy VA Medical Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract based on the evaluation factors listed in the solicitation. Resultant contract will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation, is deemed acceptable, and provides the best value based on the evaluation factors in the solicitation. 5)QUESTIONS & ANSWERS: All questions and inquiries about this solicitation must be submitted in writing via email to cory.chandler2@va.gov on or before February 27, 2015 by 4:00 PM CDT. All responses to questions, which may affect offers, will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation. See attached RFQ VA257-15-Q-0635
