SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION AND APPROVAL FOR MICRO FOCUS (US), INC. CLASSIFICATION CODE: 70 - ADP EQUIPMENT SOFTWARE, SUPPLIES AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT NAICS: 511210 SUBJECT: LICENSING, MAINTENANCE, AND SUPPORT OF MICRO FOCUS COBOL SERVER EXPRESS POINT OF CONTACT: Mathew Watts, mathew.watts@usmc.mil (229)639-6078, FAX (229) 639-8232. (Email responses / offers are preferred). Mailing - Contracts Dept. (Code S1924), 814 Radford Blvd., Ste 20270, Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, Georgia 31704-1128. The Marine Corps Logistics Command, Contracts Department (S1940) intends to solicit and contract with Micro Focus (US), Inc. (CAGE: 3HRV7) of Rockville, MD. on a sole source basis for perpetual licensing, maintenance, and support of the Micro Focus COBOL Server Express aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA 31704. See attached Justification and Approval. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient data, or the rights to same data, for the licensing, software updates, and maintenance of COBOL Server Express. Any source able to provide the licensing, software updates, and maintenance expertise may contact the person(s) indicated above to be considered a responsible source. No solicitation will be posted via this portal for the requirement. CLIN 0001 - Micro Focus COBOL Server Express: License for Server for COBOL v 5.1.10 for SPARC running Solaris 10/11 32/64 Bit for two (2) CPUs, two (2) Cores Totalling four (4) Cores; Qty 1 One (1) Year Support & Maintenance for Server for COBOL v 5.1.10; Qty 4 License for Server Express v 5.1.10 for SPARC running Solaris 10/11 32/64 Bit for two (2) Named Users; Qty 1 One (1) Year Support & Maintenance for Server Express v 5.1.10; Qty 2 Award Procedures - The Government will solicit a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for commercial supply/services with an estimated total under the simplified acquisition threshold. The anticipated award date is 27 February 2015.
