Description
The US Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Knox, Kentucky intends to award an extension to its existing workforce analysis support system contract to provide services for up to 6 months. NAICS code 541513. The Army desires a competitive award. However, there are risks associated with this requirement, such as near immediate start of performance, short performance duration, staff turnover, and a very short phase-in. The contractor will be required to begin full performance 12 March 2015. The Army desires industry innovative ideas that will mitigate these risks. Without mitigating theses risks, the Army must award an interim contract to the current incumbent contractor, AT&T Government Solutions. Any contractor awarded will be required to provide workforce analysis support system, civilian forecasting system and competency management system support services for headquarters, Department of the Army Office of the Deputy of Chief of Staff, G1, Office of the Assistant G-1 for Civilian Personnel Plans, Analysis and Evaluation Divisions (AG-1)(CP)PAED) Fort Belvoir, VA. This requirement is only an interim solution. The long term requirement to provide workforce analysis support system, civilian forecasting system and competency management system support services at Fort Belvoir, VA will be solicited in the near future and will provide for competitive proposals. For maximum consideration, responses to this notice are requested in writing no later than 12:00 noon, Eastern Time, 2 March 2015. Send responses by e-mail to Kerry St. John at kerry.a.stjohn.civ@mail.mil. If you believe this acquisition is unreasonably restrictive, you may contact the Headquarters MICC Advocate for Competition, Dean Carsello at dean.m.carsello.civ@mail.mil.
