- This special notice is intended for informational purposes only. This special notice to industry is to follow up on previous market research conducted under sources sought notice No. SAQMMA13SS0002 (at https://www.fbo.gov/spg/State/A-LM-AQM/A-LM-AQM/saqmma13ss0002/listing.html) which industry participated in and has requested information to share related to acquisition planning. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), or any type of solicitation for competition. This special notice is for industry to be informed on a determination made by the Government in conjunction with the Small Business Administration to place this upcoming opportunity under GSA 8(a) STARS II for competition among IDIQ GWAC holders, and GSA has determined this requirement to be compatible with the scope of the 8(a) STARS II for Constellation I under Functional Area (FA) 2 which will be referenced. The Government estimates approximately 10 days from this notice to have a task order Request For Quote on GSA-E-BUY RFQ Platform which will go out to GSA 8(a) STARS II IDIQ holders under Constellation I under Functional Area 2for participation. All GSA 8(a) STARS II IDIQ holders under Constellation I under Functional area 2 will be requested within five (5) days of the GSA E-Buy Task Order RFQ posting to opt in - or opt out of the opportunity after they have a chance to review the requirements under the opportunity. We anticipate a short period for questions and answers if needed, along with a multi-phased evaluation approach which will be defined in the task order RFQ synopsized under GSA E-Buy.
