- Description
- DARPA-SN-15-31 The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Defense Sciences Office (DSO) is requesting information concerning research related to the development of physical co-processors for the acceleration of scientific computing. Of particular interest are analog and continuous (non-discrete) physical processes that can be used as a computational substrate for efficiently simulating systems governed by complex, simultaneous, locally interacting, and non-linear phenomena. Although this RFI primarily discusses analog and hybrid analog/digital approaches, purely digital and other novel approaches that enable the desired transformative computational capability are also of interest.
