Description

SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS For Spine Surgery Table 1.Background: The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) is requesting procurement of an additional spinal table to allow orthopedics and neurosurgery to simultaneously perform spinal cases in OR5 and OR6. This purchase will enhance our ability to perform spinal surgeries avoiding patient delays due to limited availability of this specialized table. 2.Project Scope: The overall scope of the project is to procure one ProAxis spinal table or brand name equivalent spinal table that will allow the surgeon to manipulate the spine intraoperatively per request 580-15-1-167-0052. 3.Specifications: "Carbon fibre spinal table with complete radiolucency with two hinge modes for fixed surgical site and fixed end "Capability for intraoperative spine manipulation "Flat top traction "Table size 20-47" high x 19-21"wide x 80-138"long "Trendelenburg position 0-15 degree from home position, 0-20 degrees reverse from home position "Lateral tilt right/left 0-15 degrees "Hinge angle range -20 to +35 degrees software controlled "500 lb weight capacity "Real time table position monitoring and clear selection table function "Designed to support biomechanical aspects of spinal and imaging procedures 4.Warranty and Support: The warranty and support must cover all components of the requirement in accordance with standard manufacturer's warranty.
