Description

The United States Marine Corps has awarded contract M67854-15-C-6002 under solicitation M67854-14-R-6002 for the development, production, and delivery of the Abrams Integrated Display and Targeting System (AIDATS). The AIDATS will improve the ability of the M1A1 Tank crew's situational awareness and will increase the Tank Commander's (TC) identification range to the effective range of the.50 cal machine gun. The requirement will include a high-resolution day sight, thermal camera, and a fixed high-resolution color display allowing the TC to accurately identify and engage targets under battlefield conditions at ranges approaching the full capability of the weapon system. This is a Firm -Fixed Price contract with an initial Period of Performance of 14 months for the Engineering, Manufacturing and Development (EMD), and Option Years for the Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and Full-Rate Production (FRP) quantities, Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), and initial provisioning spares.
