- The Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office (RCO) is procuring onsite training for a course of instruction on Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Boiler Operation Maintenance and Safety, HVAC Electrical Controls & Air Distribution, and Pump Repair and Maintenance at I&L Facilities Maintenance, Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MAGTFTC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms, California. 1.1. Background. I & L Facilities Maintenance employed certified maintenance technician to provide maintenance and repair of Government owned HVAC, AC, Pump and Boiler equipment. The objective of the required training is to understand, operate, maintain and troubleshoot and to bring up to speed in their skills and knowledge as quickly and safely as possible. This training also serves as a refresher course for continuing education and practical approach for operation, maintenance and safety. 1.2. Scope of Work. a. Contractor is required to perform Pre testing at the beginning of training and Post testing at the end of training. b. Training is for multiple group; 4 Days - 2 topics/full agenda - per group with hands on equipment. 12 staff for Air Conditioning & Refrigeration and HVAC Electrical Controls & Air Distribution. 14 staff for Boiler Operation, Maintenance and Safety and Pump Repair and Maintenance. c. Period of Performance is April 14-17, 2015 and May 12-15, 2015 or to be determined after the award however it will be scheduled 4 weeks in advance. d. Certification is NOT required. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS. Work will be performed under the scope of the course curriculum developed by the contractor. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 General Requirements. The Contractor shall organize, coordinate, and control all program activities to ensure compliance with the contract and this SOW. The contractor shall plan, analyze, revise, update, and deliver the general and specific requirements as outlined in this SOW. The Contractor shall work with the appropriate I&L Facilities Maintenance Staff member to ensure delivery of all necessary products in support of training events. 3.2. Contractor Furnished Equipment. The customer shall provide classroom space with projection screen. 3.3. Travel. The contractor will be required to travel to end-user training sites and to Government spaces. Travel required to fulfill the requirements of this contract will be IAW the Joint Federal Travel Regulations and every effort will be made to ensure the lowest rates are secured.
