Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) intends to negotiate a Sole Source commercial item supply contract. The requirement is to purchase Kyphon express inflatable bone trays and Kyphon first fracture inflatable bonefiller for the mid thoracic and upper lumbar repairs. This will be for the Richmond VAMC 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond VA 23249. The proposed contract action is for goods which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-2 (b). This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement that demonstrates their firm's ability to provide the goods described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered and identify their interest and capability to this response no later than March 6, 2015, 2pm, EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Point of contact Veronica S.
