Description

STATEMENT OF WORK A.GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Title of Project: Ultrasound System 2. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. Radiology Department is requesting a new ultrasound machine with a 3 year warranty in order to provide peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC lines) to patients throughout all of the Atlanta Veterans Medical Center. 3. Background: 100% of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC lines) are done at bedside by Radiology Nurses. The use of ultrasound guidance provides accurate guidance and documentation for placement within the patients' body. The existing ultrasound machine is broken and is being held together with tape. 4. Period of Performance: Deliver within 10 days after award with 3 year warranty. 5.
