- Description
- Amendment #1 Questions & Answers Question Number #1: Solicitation # W911N2-15-Q-0305 for a pair of 390GRF-12 AC Power Source/Frequency Converters. In the specifications it states an input voltage requirement, but does not list the output voltage range required. Can you please confirm the maximum voltage required for this application? Answer Number #1: We need the unit to power 3 phase 115-120 VAC at 400hz. However the capability, expandability and reliability of the linear 390G is why we chose this unit as a name brand or equal. Question Number #2: The 390G Series are based on linear amplifiers which provide a low noise output. Are switching type of AC power sources being considered for this application? There is a wide variety of power sources that can fill this requirement each having its advantages? Answer Number #2: The requirement is for a 390GRF-12 AC Power Source/Frequency Converters, Name Brand or Equal, because that is what fits the requirement. Question Number #3: I have some questions about the Utility Requirements and RF emission. Is there a technical contact I can contact about these requirements? Answer Number #3: No, no technical contact at this point is needed because the requirement has all the information necessary to quote. Question #4: Please clarify the following addendum: ADENDUM TO FAR 52.212-2 Technical acceptability shall be based on compliance with the required technical components identified in Attachment I. Offerors, must provide sufficient information and detail to demonstrate the equipment offered are Brand Name only with the requirements listed in Attachment I. All offers that do not clearly establish technical acceptance in compliance with the above will be removed from further consideration. Answer Number #4: Addendum FAR 52.212-2 has been changed and replaced with the following: Technical acceptability shall be based on compliance with the required technical components identified in Attachment I. Offerors, must provide sufficient information and detail to demonstrate the equipment offered are Brand Name, or Equal to the requirements listed in Attachment I. All offers that do not clearly establish technical acceptance in compliance with the above will be removed from further consideration. Question #5: What is the output for the units? Answer #5: We require 3 phase 115-120v 400hz minimum output but respondents may exceed the minimum in their offer. Question #6: Do these units require a variable input or output frequency? Answer #6: Input no, output yes. These units should have a manual controller to adjust settings.
