- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is W9124J-15-R-0036 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-80. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110 with a small business size standard of $32.50M.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-03-06 13:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be in the Place of Performance. The MICC Joint Base San Antonio requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001: Conference Room - General assembly for up to 250 personnel clasroom-style seating. Shall be available for use Tuesday, 24 March 2015 at 6:00 am through Wednesday, 25 March 2015 at 6:00 pm. Refer to attached PWS for additional details and AV requirements., 1, EA; LI 002: Breakout Rooms - The Contractor shall provide four (4) breakout rooms with availability for use starting Tuesday, 24 March 2015 at 6:00 am through Wednesday, 25 March 2015 at 6:00 pm. Each room shall accommodate 60 attendees in theater style seating and contain one (1) wired podium microphone, one (1) podium, one (1) laptop one (1) projector and one (1) screen. Refer to attached PWS for additional details and AV requirements., 4, EA; LI 003: Commanding General's (CG) Office - The Contractor shall provide one room with availability for use starting Tuesday, 24 March 2015 at 6:00 am through Wednesday, 25 March 2015 at 6:00 pm. The Contractor shall provide a conference table to seat 15, one (1) Executive desk with chair, one (1) color printer with table, one (1) phone and one (1) easel on the outside of the door. The Contractor shall also provide two (2) tables with chairs for computer work stations immediately outside of the office. Refer to attached PWS for additional details and AV requirements., 1, EA; LI 004: Distinguished Visitor's (DV) Office - The Contractor shall provide one room with availability for use starting Tuesday, 24 March 2015 at 6:00 am through Wednesday, 25 March 2015 at 6:00 pm. The Contractor shall provide one (1) office desk with chair, one (1) phone and one (1) easel on the outside of the door., 1, EA; LI 005: Executive Meeting Room - The Contractor shall provide one room with availability for use starting Tuesday, 24 March 2015 at 6:00 am through Wednesday, 25 March 2015 at 6:00 pm. The contractor shall provide four (4) 8? tables with fifteen (15) chairs around the perimeter of the room for computer stations. Refer to attached PWS for additional details and AV requirements., 1, EA; LI 006: General/Registration Area - Contractor shall provide a designated registration area with two (2) tables, six (6) chairs, and space for tabletop displays near registration area. Pre-registration shall occur at the facility beginning at 12:00 pm on Monday, 23 March 2015. Refer to attached PWS for additional details and AV requirements., 1, EA; LI 007: Operations Support Center - The Contractor shall provide one room equipped with six (6) 8?skirted tables, twelve (12) chairs around the perimeter of the room for computer stations, one (1) 6? table for printers, one (1) easel outside of the door. Refer to attached PWS for additional details and AV requirements., 1, EA; LI 008: Parking - The Contractor shall provide 10 parking spaces in the Contractor parking lot 22-26 March 2015. Spaces will be conference attendees designated as Distinguished Visitors (DVs). Government Representative will provide a list of DVs to the Hotel Representative 5 days prior to the start of the conference., 1, EA; LI 009: Announcement Boards - The Contractor shall provide announcement boards at each Contractor entrance and the main conference room welcoming and directing conference attendees. The Government Representative will provide the exact wording of the announcement to the Contractor within 5 days prior to the start of the conference. The Contractor shall allow the Government to bring in signage to promote and provide information for conference attendees throughout the space., 1, EA; LI 010: Lodging - The Contractor shall provide single occupancy rooms as per the attached PWS. All GCC attendees shall be located in the same Contractor property. All participants at the conference shall be responsible for paying their own individual lodging bill with a Government travel card. Lodging rates shall not exceed the Joint Travel Regulation?s Per Diem rates for San Antonio, TX. The Contractor shall reserve room accommodations for attendees based on the estimated lodging schedule in Table 1 of the attached PWS. Charges for lodging are not included in this solicitation and are coordinated individually with conference attendees., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted by using the 'Submit a Question' feature at www.fedbid.com. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC Joint Base San Antonio intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC Joint Base San Antonio is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
