- 1. Introduction/Purpose The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for Global 5000/Express Initial/Recurrent Pilot Qualification Training to support FAA airborne Research and Development. 2. Incumbent Contractor FlightSafety International Marine Air Terminal, LaGuardia Airport Flushing, NY 11371 3. Nature of Competition The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time. This determination for the level of competition will be based on the results of this market survey. 4. Standard Language Interested companies are reminded that “ (a) This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or Request for Proposals of any kind; (b) The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (c) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and (d) Any costs associated with the market survey submittal are solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. 5. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code The projected NAICS code for this requirement is 611512 (Flight Training) with a size standard of $25.5M. 6. Submittal Requirements for Market Survey Interested companies are required to submit the following: (a) Capability statement “ This document should address your firm ™s capability in meeting the FAA ™s requirement as described in the attached Draft Statement of Work. Address clearly and concisely how your company will support this contract. Any relevant current or previous corporate experience should be included within this statement. Previous experience should be limited to the last five years. Total page limitation for the capability statement is five (5) pages “ font size 10, one-inch margins, single spaced. (b) Completed Business Declaration Form (c) Copy of the 8(a) Certification (if applicable) Comments concerning the Draft SOW are welcome and optional. The FAA will consider all comments received. 7. Delivery of Submittals Interested companies must submit their response to this market survey electronically to the Contracting Officer at michael.vazquez@faa.gov by no later than 1 PM (EST) on March 18, 2015. All questions regarding this market survey must be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer. No telephone calls will be accepted.
