- SF 1449 The USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement to procure the following: 1. NSN 7350-01-GG0-0946, BREAD TRAY 12-INCH SILVER PLATED BREAD TRAY WITH U.S. COAST GUARD DISTINGUISHING MARK. PATTERN: MORTON PARKER EPNS SILVER HOLLOWARE, CATALOG NUMBER 197 WITH OVAL GADROON EDGE MOUNT - MODIFIED WITH THE ADDITION OF A COAST GUARD DISTINGUISHING MARK ENGRAVED OR STAMPED INTO THE SIDE OF THE TRAY. DISTINGUISHING MARK CONSISTS OF A 'COAST GUARD SHIELD' AND LETTERS "U.S.C.G." CENTERED ABOVE THE SHIELD. PLACEMENT OF THE DISTINGUISHING MARK TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) DRAWING 52100-1095-04. DISTINGUISHING MARK DESIGN TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH DRAWING 52100-1098-04C, SIZE 6. PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLE REQUIRED FOR EVALUATION. EACH BREAD TRAY TO BE WRAPPED WITH ANTI-TARNISH PAPER AND INDIVIDUALLY BOXED. EACH UNIT SHALL BE PACKAGED/PACKED IAW ASTM-D-3951. EACH UNIT TO BE INDIVIDUALLY MARKED IAW MIL-STD-129P(4). PATTERN: MORTON PARKER "CROMWELL" EPNS, PRODUCT NUMBER 11-013-5012 WITH THE ADDITION OF AN ENGRAVED OR STAMPED COAST GUARD DISTINGUISHING MARK. DISTINGUISHING MARK CONSISTS OF A "COAST GUARD SHIELD" AND LETTERS "U.S.C.G." CENTERED ABOVE THE SHIELD. QTY 25 EACH USCG /SFLC SP-PP&M-00l DATED 05/95 REVISION D 10/00 PRESERVATION, PACKAGING & MARKING PRESERVATION - Each piece or assembly that make up one each of any contract line item (CLIN) shall be preserved in accordance with ASTM-D-3951. PACKAGING - Each preserved contract line item shall be packed in its own carton or box as needed to meet the requirements of ASTM-D-3951.This package shall be considered a unit pack. This unit pack shall meet the requirements of a shipping container. UNITIZATION - Unit packs can be unitized as specified in ASTM-D3951. MARKING - Marking shall be clear, legible, permanent and in English. UNIT PACKAGES - Shall be marked as specified herein. National Stock Number/ Activity Control Number. Shipping costs shall be included in the price of the item. Delivery is required on or before 08/1/15. Please submit you proposed delivery information for each line item. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAC 71 (DEC 13) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following FAR Clauses apply to this solicitation. This requirement is being synopsized as a set aside for Small Business competitive acquisition under NAICS code 332211. The Small Business Size Standard is 500. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. It is anticipated that a competitive purchase order shall be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. EVALUATION Award shall be made without discussions unless the Contracting Officer determines discussions are necessary. Quotations received in response to this synopsis/solicitation shall be evaluated on lowest technically acceptable price. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with SAM (www.sam.gov) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer.
