Description

The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to repair a transformer on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS). The requirement is to provide the labor, equipment, and materials to replace transformer 95154 and its primary feeder at TEL IV on CCAFS. All work shall be as indicated in project drawings and specifications. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 162 calendar days, including 14 no-access days, to begin within 10 days of Notice to Proceed. The construction magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. The IFB will be issued on or about 23 March 2015, with a bid closing date on or about 23 April 2015. *****NOTICE TO OFFERORS: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS EFFORT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS SOLICITATION UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICIATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS. IN THE EVENT THE GOVERNMENT CANCELS THIS SOLICITATION, THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO OBLIGATIONTO REIMBURSE AN OFFEROR FOR ANY COSTS.***** All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the 45th Space Wing.
