- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE AG-02RC-S-15-0036 Palouse, North Fork, Lochsa and Powell Ranger Districts Nez Perce/Clearwater National Forests Idaho/Montana Acquisition Team 2015 PRECOMMERCIAL THINNING Work consists of precommercial tree thinning, and stand(s) improvement activities to reduce the tree density, and by deliberate selection of leave trees, improve the overall health and condition of the stand(s) based on prescribed objectives. Tree selection and cutting of undesirable or excess trees will provide space for the leave trees to grow and develop, reduce the incidence of insect and diseases that affect growth, and undesirable tree qualities. Anticipated Solicitation Issuance Date will be mid-April, 2015. Estimated Award and Start Work Date is mid-May, 2015.
