Description

F1TBAS5062A001 Explosive SHP 941 AGS Propellant The AFTC Installation Contracting Division/PZIOA, Eglin AFB FL,, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for a SHP(R) 941 AGS Propellant under the authority of FAR 13.106(a)(1) to General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, St Marks Powder, Inc. PO BOX 222 St Marks, FL 32355-0222. Anticipated award date is 16 March 2015. The SHP941 propellant, developed by General Dynamics for the Navy's Advances Gun System, is currently the only powder formulation that meets the research requirements, for the burn rate and pressure generation, for use in the RWMF's 185mm M107 Cannon. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001 : SHP(R) 941 (AGS Propellant) These items must be delivered to: AFRL/RWOL/LMCA, EGLIN AFB, FL 32542 no later than 23 March on an FOB Destination basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 325920, small business size standard: 750 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes, however all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The government will consider all responses received within 15 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
