Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Affairs medical Center (VAMC)-Ann Arbor Healthcare System, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Veterinary Services in support of the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System Research Department, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. NAICS Code 541940, size standard $7 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Regents of the University of Michigan, 503 Thompson St., Ann Arbor, MI 48109 for this procurement due to the special capabilities required and the requirement of the provider to be in close proximity to the VA Ann Arbor. The Contractor shall provide all services required by the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, for the period of Date of Award through three years after the date of contract award in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. No telephonic inquiries or e-mail responses will be accepted.
