RE: Solicitation Number: VA262-15-R-0035 - Janitorial Services This amendment is being issued to correct the following: Change block #8 (Offer Due Date/Local Time) on Standard Form 1149 to: March 19, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. PST. B.34 Hours of Operation for VA Santa Barbara Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) to read: The contractor shall perform the services as specified herein, Monday through Friday (five days) with the exception of National Holidays (see below), between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. After hours cleaning services (ex: stripping and waxing of vinyl floors and/or carpet cleaning in areas where work can't be accomplished during normal working hours) will be performed Monday through Friday between 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The Clinic will normally be closed on weekends and holidays. All after hours cleaning must be approved by the COR at least seven (7) days in advance. B.8a is corrected to read: Vertical Blinds. Dust all blinds to remove all dust, lint and dry soil. Section B.10b - Spot Clean Doors, Walls and Partitions have been moved from Semi-Annual Cleaning Services to Section B.7 - Once per Week Cleaning Services. B.6b Remove Trash to read: All trash containers shall be emptied and returned to their initial location. Boxes, cans, and paper near a trash receptacle shall be removed and placed in designated recycle collection bins. All plastic trash receptacle liners shall be replaced. Empty all cigarette/ash receptacles placing ashes and debris in a nonflammable container. All trash and cigarette/ash receptacles shall be returned to their original position after being emptied. Exterior-All entrances/exits leading into or from the building shall be kept clean and free of trash including cigarette butts. VA employees shall not be responsible for the recycling. The contractor shall be involved in empting and collecting the recycling bins. The Contractor shall pick-up any trash that may fall onto the facility floors during normal working hours. Trash shall be disposed of in plastic bags secured with bag ties and deposited in the trash collections bins. Trash receptacles shall be left clean, free of foreign matter, and free of odors. Add to B.10h - Storage Areas - Santa Barbara Community Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) housekeeping space consists of a small locked housekeeping close with running water for filling buckets and rinsing mops. A locked storage cabinet is also available for storing supplies. Delete: B.7d - Warehouses. Dust shelves, sweep and damp mop floors, empty trash receptacles and replace trash receptacle liners.
