Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. NAVFAC Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center located in Port Hueneme California is seeking eligible businesses with current and relevant qualifications, experience, personnel and capability to perform the proposed contract action. The appropriate NAICS Code is 333996. This Market research tool is being used to determine potential and eligible business firms capable of providing the remanufacture services of 132 Linde Hydraulic pumps (Part No. 2650104R) in order to make them compatible for use with the LARC-V A1/A2, described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought. Requirements: The Contractor shall perform the remanufacture on the hydraulic pumps specifically set to start at the same time, all transit the ramp-up to full output at the same rate, all produce the same flow in GPM, and all produce the same pressures throughout the spans in order to ensure optimum performance with the LARC-V A1/A2. Remanufactured pumps will be bench tested to verify proper operation and a copy of each test indicating the condition of the pumps and results of the test performed for rated displacement will be provided to the Contracting Technical Point of Contact. The Contractor shall perform remanufacture in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) operating and repair manuals (Linde Process Document LARC-V SLEP Documentation) to exact specifications characteristic of part number 2650104R (as specified in NAVFAC Drawing 1600911-4) required for the LARC-V A1/A2 craft.
