- The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command - Army Research Development Engineering Center (REDCOM-ARDEC) is contemplating the award of multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) to contractors capable of providing a wide range of Provide a wide range of welding supplies to support Picatinny Arsenal R&D developmental projects, production programs and theatre requirements. Interested sources should be capable of providing the following types of welding supplies: -Nozzles -Welding Wire -Gauges -Torches -Repair Parts -Shielding Devices -Welding Consumables -Gas and gas mixes -Personal protective equipment -Protective welding clothing -Welding related tooling and hardware -Welding machines (i.e. Lincoln, Miller and other brands) -Software -Robotic welders -Fixtures and ancillary equipment This synopsis is open to all business concerns; however, in accordance with FAR 19.501, the Government's intent is to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA's) with small businesses. In the event there aren't enough responses from responsible, capable small businesses, then large business responses will be considered. The NAICS is 333992 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. All interested and potential firms must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive an award. Interested sources can register at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interest and capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, and any other information pertaining to this particular area of procurement. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. Responses shall also indicate the size of the business entity; large, or small and provide your DUNS or Cage Code. Please provide the name of your firm, address, POC, phone/fax number and email address. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions, by email. Submittals and questions should be directed to the following Government Point of Contact: William Tenz, William.d.tenz.civ@mail.mil NO LATER THAN April 7, 2015 by 4:30PM. This is not a request for proposal/quote, nor is the Government obligated to issue one. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. The Government may enter into one or multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements as a result of this notice.
