- Atch_1b_NE15_Micro-UAS_Vessel_Support_Req Atch_1a_NE15_Surface_EA_Vessel_Support_Req Atch_1_PWS_NE15_Commercial_Fishing_Boats_v.2 The Government is seeking sources that can provide five (5) vessels (55ft in length or larger, certified by the United States Coast Guard (USCG)), personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, insurance, and other items and services necessary to perform support services for joint training exercise Department of Defense (DoD)/USCG, NORTHERN EDGE 2015, 14 June 2011 through 23 June 2015 (10 days). The government would prefer that three of the five vessels to consist of the following: • One (1) of the five vessels be 85 foot or greater and embark two (2) exercise personnel and support equipment and • Two (2) of the five vessels be 70 foot or greater and embark three (3) exercise personnel and support equipment. Contractor will provide digital photographs of each vessel. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for any information or inquiry. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids/proposals. Firms submitting responses should indicate whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), women-owned, Hub-zone, or HBCU/MI. If HCU/MI or 8(a) certified business respond to this announcement, the acquisition might be 100% set-aside. In addition, firms should indicate whether they are capable of providing all five (5) vessels. The NAICS for this requirement is 532411 and the size standard is $32.5 million. Firms should indicate what NAICS code the firm utilizes for this type of requirement. Offerors capable of providing all of the described services are invited to submit a statement of capabilities to 673 CONS/LGCB, 10480 Sijan Avenue, JBER, AK 99506 at/or before 9:00 am Alaska Time, March 18, 2015.
