Description

Under Statutory Authority § 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), the Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, Southern Tier, anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations with AutomatedLogic Corporation (ALC), Lisle, IL to provide an AutomatedLogic Certified Engineer on-site for two (2) eight (8) hour days per week for 52 weeks, to test, service, and provide maintenance on the AutomatedLogic WebCTRL Temperature Automation System throughout the CAPT James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 8.405-6 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements). This contract will be a firm fixed price, and the NAICS Code is 238220. The above authority is cited, and justification made, based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from this one source. This announcement is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by furnishing information in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement, by March 19, 2015. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interest received on or before March 19, 2015 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation documents are available.
