- Description: The Army Contracting Command-Redstone plans to procure Modernized Radar Frequency Interferometer (M-RFI) Ship-Sets and Spares. The Government plans to procure the M-RFI kits and spares as sole source from Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training (MST), 1801 State RT 17C, Owego, NY 13827-3900, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code 03640 in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (a) (2) (iii), quote mark Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. quote mark. LMMST is the designer, developer, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and is the sole source contractor currently providing M-RFI for the Apache 64 D/E. This requirement consist of 62 M-RFI Kits, 9 Initial Spares, 4 Lots Replenishment Spares, and 1 Lot Lay-In Spares. Also, LMMST possesses the technical expertise, data, and experience necessary to execute this requirement. The Government plans to utilize a fixed price incentive (cost Based) type contract with an anticipated 44 month period of performance. The Base quantity consists of 31 M-RFI Kits, 6 Initial Spares, 1 Replenishment Spare, and 1 Lot of Lay-In Spares. The First Option is for 9 M-RFI Kits, 1 Initial Spare, and 1 Lot Replenishment Spares. The Second Option is for 12 M-RFI Kits, and 2 Spare Kits. The Third Option is for 9 M-RFI Kits, 1 Initial Spare, and 1 Lot Replenishment Spares. Interested parties should identify themselves in writing to the Procuring Contracting Officer, Mr. Patrick C.
