Description

JOFOC THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE NOTICE. The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm fixed price sole source contract under the 41 U.S.C 253 (c) (1) FAR 6.302-1 (2) (C) (ii) (a) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Alternative Design Manufacturing and Supply Inc., 3055 Cheri Whitlock Drive, Siloam Springs, AR 72761-2011. Description of Requirement: The objective of this sole source award is to procure and conduct negotiations for acquisition Part: BRS16-39X14X14-SS-TSCREW - three cage super brooder units. Each unit contains 4 tiers, with 4 cages per ties (16 Cage Super Brooder total). The NAICS code for this requirement is 333111 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes however; all information received by March 23, 2015 will be considered by the Government. All interested vendors must respond by March 23, 2015, 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Responses shall be submitted to the point of contact Patricia Jones at pat.jones@ars.usda.gov. The e-mail subject line shall state: AG-32SC-S-15-R735987 Notice of Intent to Sole Source. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
