- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR Part 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quote, SPE4A515Q1636, PR 0055482840 is being issued on 3/13/15 with a closing date of 3/18/15. This item is currently sole source to General Electric Co. (CAGE 99207), NSN 2840-01-509-0348, Blade, Turbine Rotor, Unrestricted, Part Number 3056T17P11. This solicitation is for a total quantity of 495 each. All pieces are to be delivered in 205 DARO or best possible delivery. The solicitation terms include FOB: Origin and Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. This is an Army Identified Critical Safety Item (CSI). Configuration Control and Export Control apply. Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) will apply. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This requirement will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Priced Contract under FAR Part 13.5 for Commercial Acquisitions. The provision at 52.2112-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
