Description

The VA Medical Center located 1481 W. 10th Street Indianapolis, IN 46202 has a requirement for a General Waste and Recycling disposal service contract. Contractor shall provide all material, labor, transportation, equipment, service compactors, containers, and supervision for waste collection and disposal of general waste and recyclable material. Contractor shall provide all material, labor transportation, equipment, service compactor, containers and supervision for recycling of aluminum, glass, plastic, and cardboard. The Contractor shall provide maintenance and repair on containers and compactors in accordance with all terms, provisions and conditions in the Statement of Work. Contract period shall be from Date of Award through March 31, 2016 with the possibility of four (4) one (1) year pre-priced option periods exercised at the option of the Government. Total contract duration will not exceed 5 years and 6 months. It is the VA's intent to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. This procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 13.5 and will be advertised as a small business set-aside procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 562111. A small business size standard of $38.5 million applies to this code. Solicitation packages will be available on or about March 13, 2015 and shall be due on or about March 20, 2015. No hard copy solicitation shall be provided.
