Description
The Northern Region Contract Office, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) Fort Bragg, NC 28310 has the requirement for an Immunohistochemistry Staining System as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) below. If your company can provide an Immunohistochemistry Staining System meeting all the requirements of the PWS please respond to this Sources Sought. Responses are to be emailed to Mary Mitchell Martin (mary.a.mitchellmartin.civ@mail.mil) no later than 16 March, 2015, 1:00 PM EST. Telephone calls will not be accepted nor responded to. PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) Immunohistochemistry Staining System WOMACK ARMY MEDICAL CENTER (WAMC) FORT BRAGG, North Carolina 28310 Contractor shall guarantee delivery of instrument and reagents. Contractor shall provide a site coordinator and an installation specialist to assist laboratory personnel with the entire implementation/installation process, ensuring the installation and validations be completed within 30 days of equipment arrival. Contractor shall have equipment in place and ready for service by 01 April 2015. The Application Specialist, furnished by the contractor, must perform system validation procedures to include calibration, precision, accuracy, sensitivity studies as applicable. The contractor activities will include but not limited to the following: 1.All protocols loaded into the instruments computer system. 2.Validation studies of all antibodies used at this facility. 3.To obtain acceptable performance of the analyzer, all studies must be presented to the Chief, Anatomic Pathology prior to contractor departure. Statement of work for the Immunohistochemistry Staining System 4. The contractor shall provide one complete Immunohistochemistry staining system that has the ability to perform both routine and stat procedures. Contractor shall initially provide two training slots for the instrument. 5.Contractor shall provide service maintenance for the period of one year following the execution of the contract, with four one-year renewable options. Service will be during normal business hours, 5 days a week, for all equipment. 6.Workload numbers are estimated at approximately 12,000 slides per year. 7.At a minimum the system must perform the following immuno stains: Anti-CD15, 20, 43, 45RA, LCA, HMB45, ER, PR, Pan-Keratin, S100, TTF1, Neurofilament, Ck7, B34E12, Synaptophsin and Desmin. This list is not all-inclusive. 8.All reagents, supplies and consumables necessary to operate the contractor's equipment will be provided. 9.For antibodies not produced by the vendor, alternate sources are allowed to be run on the system. 10.The system must allow for continuous loading of samples with a minimum of 60 slides to be loaded at once. 11.The system must be able to do multiple protocols, using multiple detection methods. It should be an open system that allows the user to view the staining process and trouble shoot if necessary. 12.There must be able to hold 60 reagents with on-board refrigeration for heat labile chromogens or enzymes. 13.System must have a visual indicator to indicate the operational status of the system 14.System must be designed to prevent accidental loading of the bulk reagents and waste container into the wrong spots. 15.System must have a touch screen for easier system operation. 16.System must have on-board deparaffinization and antigen retrieval. 17.System must be able to run IHC and ISH slides simultaneously. 18.System must allow for multiple computer monitor locations that display system information where needed such as near the refrigerator to view required reagents. 19.The system must have the capacity to perform on board dilutions of chromogens and enzymes. 20.The staining system must be automated to allow for walk away operations. 21.The instrumentation must be capable of separating hazardous and non-hazardous waste. 22.The contractor is required to provide all upgrades to the equipment hardware and operating system software without additional charge to the government. ___ End of Statement of Work _______ Responses are to be emailed to Mary Mitchell Martin (mary.a.mitchellmartin.civ@mail.mil) no later than 16 March, 2015, 1:00 PM EST.
