Description
SOURCES SOUGHT Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for lodging/ hotel guest rooms that will accommodate 23-25 couples and thirty (30) children for the Joint Leaders' Marriage Training that will be held from 14-16 August 2015. The Government intends to issue a single solicitation that will result in the award of a purchase order. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct preliminary market research to gather information in determining if interested and responsible sources are available to meet the requirements of this procurement. In no way should this Sources Sought be construed to be a Request for Quote or a Request for Proposal. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 721110, which has corresponding Size Standard of $32.5M. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your business status. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, labor, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide lodging services in the vicinity of Fishermen's Wharf and the Financial District in San Francisco, California that shall include the following: a. Hotel location must be within close proximity of San Francisco Fishermen's Wharf for family oriented recreation activities. b. Hotel must provide between 23 and 25 rooms with two (2) double beds per room. c. Hotel room must have standard amenities, such as a coffee maker, hair dryer, flat screen television, WiFi availability, and free local call capability. d. Hotel must meet all the standards, quality and cleanliness of a three star or three diamond hotel, or better. e. Hotel must have a fitness room with standard exercise equipment. f. Hotel must be able to provide a meals room adjacent to the conference room with 1 two-sided buffet style table to serve meals for the following dates: 1) dinner for all guests on 14 August 2015, 2) breakfast and lunch for all guests on 15 August 2015, but only guest's children will be provided dinner on 15 August 2015, and finally, 3) breakfast for all guests on 16 August 2015; however, lunch will be served in the form of a box lunch (take-out) for all guests on 16 August 2015 prior to departing the hotel. g. Hotel must be able to provide one conference room/meeting space to accommodate eighty (80) people that will include 12 round tables with tablecloths for each table, eight chairs per table, and pens and notepads per attendee. Included with the conference room is 1) one LCD projector screen with podium, 2) one projector with PA system and 3) Wireless microphone. Hotel must also provide water, tea and coffee for the duration of the conference. h. Hotel must be able to provide one large daycare room to accommodate up to thirty (30) children for the following dates & times: Friday, 14 August 2015, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Saturday, 15 August 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and again, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The 2-day childcare will include snacks and age appropriate recreational and learning activities for duration of the children's stay. Hotel must also provide a childcare provider that will be properly staffed to supervise thirty (30) children for the dates listed above. In addition, childcare staff shall be licensed, certified, bonded and insured within the State of California regulations. Childcare staff certificates must be submitted to the Contract Specialist (listed below) 48 hours prior the start of the event. Responses shall include the following: 1. Company's Hotel size, hotel rating, number of rooms with double beds, daycare room availability, conference room facility, and on-site restaurant or buffet style meals availability. 2. Company's full name, address, telephone number, and point of contact with email address. 3. Company's DUNS number and CAGE code.
