Description

Synopsis: Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1 Estimated Date of Award: March 30, 2015 The Department of Veterans Affairs, located in Columbia, South Carolina, intends to make award a sole source award to First Data, Inc. that provides Verification Purchase Care monitoring services for the Home Health Care Department. 1) The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 511210 - Software Publishers with a business size standard of $38.5M. The proposed acquisition is for Verification Purchase Care monitoring services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) and Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1. 2) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 3 days (NLT 20 March 2015 ET) after date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. 3) System for Award Management (SAM): Rule requires a firm to be registered in the SAM Registration Data Base (SAM), prior to award of any contract and agreements. Firms must register on an on-time basis, and annually confirm accuracy and completeness of registration information. To register in SAM go to: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
