Description

The National Cemetery Administration issued a requirement for Total Turf Renovation for Baton Rouge National Cemetery, National Shrine Solicitation Number: VA786-15-R-0084 at the Baton Rouge National Cemetery. Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials and supplies for total renovation of designated sections of turf at the Baton Rouge National Cemetery, Baton Rouge, Louisiana located at Baton Rouge National Cemetery, 220 North 19th Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70808. Summary of Work: The Contractor gaining award shall provide all personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment and supervision necessary to perform and complete all work to turf and restoration work. The awarded contractor shall cover a period from date of award through 240 calendar days from start through finish after Notice of award Notice of Award has been issued. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements, conditions, terms and representations contained in this solicitation. Renovate designated sections of turf (border areas include the area surrounding the interment areas from roadways/fence (walls) to interment areas). 1.The appearance of the finished work shall be gravesite section(s) that shall be contoured grass landscape. It shall be critical that existing conditions are surveyed and contours adjusted as necessary and approved by the COR to produce such an appearance. Failure to achieve this finished work will be basis for accepting or not accepting the finished work. 2.All work to complete a single gravesite and the immediate surrounding turf in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Immediate surrounding turf is that turf that begins at the gravesite and runs up to the adjoining gravesites, section boundaries, fences, curbs, sidewalks, garden or tree lines and as further defined on the drawings. The contractor shall provide all supervision, professional advice/guidance, labor, parts, materials, equipment, and personnel, to provide these services. The Government will award this solicitation as a Firm Fixed Price Service Contract in accordance with the criteria contained in 52.212-2. This acquisition is 100% Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 561730. Size standard is $7.5 Million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from Federal Business Opportunities http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or around March 19 or 20, 2015. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., April 10, 2015. Offeror's are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at FedBizOpps. Offeror's are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information at http://www.fbo.gov. Proposals are due at 2:00 P.M. ET on April 10, 2015. All proposals must be submitted through the Department of Veterans Affairs Electronic Management System (eCMS) Vendor Portal website to be considered.
