Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a firm fixed price order, under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001, to The Boeing Company of St. Louis, MO. The contractor shall provide technical publications, logistics product data and drawings by incorporating Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) in support of the F/A-18 A-D aircraft. The deliverables will be provided to the Navy in FY2017. This award is based on Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), whereby the supplies or services required are available from only one source an no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and supplier of the F/A-18 A-D aircraft and is uniquely qualified to provide the complete range of program support required by the Fleet. The Boeing Company is the only known firm that possesses the technical data, resources and expertise necessary to fulfill the Government's requirements.
