- THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the General Services Administration to identify potential construction sources and to determine if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. The General Services Administration (GSA) Greater Southwest Region is seeking sources that are capable of performing an elevator modernization involving one elevator at the Ysleta Land Port of Entry Administration Building located at 797 S. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907-6656. T he project consists of the modernization of one (1) existing Hydraulic Passenger elevator. Provide new : Pump motor and machine, solid state microprocessor controls, car frame, cab, doors, and all associated work to provide one complete new passenger elevator. All work performed under this contract shall meet or exceed the current ASME-A17.1 Elevator Code and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS Code is 238290 and the current size standard is $15 Million. It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 365 calendar days to complete. Contractor must be able to self perform 90% of the work required. To be eligible for contract award, responding firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and VETS-100 Federal Contractor Reporting.
