- Solicitation Number: W91ZLK-15-T-0091 Synopsis: Sources Sought Notice for Information Only The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for upgrade, calibration, configuration of Government owned beam steering system. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. ACC-APG is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Background For the purpose of this notice, the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333999. All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing; Employee size: 500. ACC-APG is seeking potential sources to provide technical support services (to include upgrade, calibration, and configuration) to a Government owned beam steering system. This beam steering system currently utilizes a computer with an Etel DSMAX3 card, Etel DSCDP controllers, and Nutec TMAX5 beam steering heads. The computer with the DSMAX3 card is used to communicate with Etel DSCDP through an Etel command line program. The Etel DSCDP controller is used to control the beam steering heads. The beam steering heads move according to the input from the Etel DSCDP. The beam steering head positions a laser target that is used for target tracking. This upgrade requires replacement of Etel DSCDP controller with AccurET Modular 400 Position Controller. The DSMAX3 requires replacement with UltimeET light Motion Controller. The TMAX5 technical data package is held by Nutec company. Instructions to Potential Respondents Companies that desire to participate in this sources sought are encouraged to submit a response which supports the company's claim that it presently has the technology, qualifications, experience, and capabilities to satisfy the requirements. The response should discuss the company's ability to adapt and/or provide existing technologies that have the required capabilities. Specifically, any interested companies are requested to provide the following information: 1) Name of Company 2) Business CAGE code 3) Point of contact and phone number 4) Size of Business according to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333999. 5) Other suggested NAICS codes for this program and your size classification based on these codes. 6) Company certifications (e.g. ISO-9001, ASI-9100, CMMI) 7) A brief summary of your company's experience and past performance within the past 3 years as it relates to this requirement. Each company experience (Government or commercial) should include (a) name of the project, (b) a brief description of the project, (c) the relevance of the contract/project to the requirements in this notice. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (IN FULL OR IN PART) OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.
