- TITLE: 1615; ARM, CAM-DROOP ROTOR HEAD; CH-53 HELICOPTER; WSIC: G IQC: 1000035862, ISSUE DATE: 2 APR 2015; CLOSING DATE: 4 MAY 2015 This solicitation will result in a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SBSA) with a base year and four option years. The NSN is 1615-01-126-6048, Arm, Cam-Droop Rotor Head, Right Head IAW P/N: 65105-11005-104. The item intended sources are: Seanair Machine Co., Inc. (CAGE 63630), Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (CAGE 78286) or Apex Manufacturing, Company, (CAGE 2V443). DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, nor can the information be furnished by the government. This procurement is suitable for competitive acquisition; however requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part is required. Any manufacturer, other than those listed above wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) information may be found via http://www.aviation.dla.mil/userweb/sarguide.doc. The estimated annual quantity is 447 each. This is a Critical Application Item. Government First Article Testing and Production Lot testing applies. This item is subject to Configuration Control and Export Control. The following terms apply: FOB ORIGIN; Inspection / Acceptance ORIGIN. Delivery for this procurement will be DLA DIRECT (STOCK). The First Article Testing is due 369 days from date of award (DARO). Production Lot Testing is due 199 days after first article acceptance (DAFAA) and the final shipment of the Production will be 15 days after production lot evaluation (DAPLE). This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the ProcureX system to self-register and review the available training tools at: dla.procurexinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. Offerors who do not self-register will be loaded at the time of auction by DLA. Past Performance Automated System (PPIRS_SR) apply. Price, Past Performance and Delivery will be equally weighted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written quote. Please submit offers in writing. The solicitation issue date will be 2 April 2015 with a closing date of 4 May 2015.
