- Draft PWS THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS; THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The Air Force Test Center, Edwards AFB, CA is seeking sources capable of providing an integrated curriculum to support Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) / Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) / Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) (called RPA from here forward) education as part of our standard long course curriculum at the USAF Test Pilot School and intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract. Currently efforts to include RPA education provide an initial offering of a RPA curriculum. This initial capability has pointed USAF TPS towards a more comprehensive architecture of the RPA curriculum. This effort would be responsible for modifying current curriculum and then creating new curriculum content that would fall within the pre-determined architecture defined by the USAF TPS Flying Qualities Master Instructor. This effort would work with the USAF TPS Flying Qualities Master Instructor to implement RPA testing fully into the USAF TPS Curriculum. Work would include documentation for both instructors and students for each event, coordination to secure required material assets as well as flight clearances for curriculum execution, training staff to execute new curriculum, development of specific learning objectives and outcomes, and learning assessments (both written and practical exams). The Government is seeking only qualified and experienced sources interested in performing the services identified in the attached draft PWS. The draft PWS represents a detailed snap shot of the requirements of the Air Force Test Center. Therefore, the Government is requesting that interested companies furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HubZone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc. under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 611512 with the Small Business Administration size standard of $27.5 Million (3) Under which NAICS does your company usually perform the majority of the services identified in the attached draft PWS? Please include the rational for your answer.
