- Army Contracting Command - APG Fort Belvoir Division, on behalf of Project Manager Expeditionary Energy & Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2) is sponsoring an Industry Day for Advanced Medium Mobile Power Sources (AMMPS) on 29-30 April 2015. The Industry Day will be held at the District of Columbia Army National Guard Facility on Davison Army Airfield, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide an opportunity for companies to ask questions in an open forum and one-on-one sessions will be available. Joint ventures, teaming arrangements, strategic alliances, or other business arrangements to satisfy requirements of AMMPS are encouraged. Transparency and communication is critical. The Industry Day presentations will include technical, logistics, and contracting strategy. The industry day briefings are all unclassified. Questions and answers presented will be recorded and posted. Accordingly, information will NOT be treated as proprietary unless specifically identified as such; please be aware that identifying information as quote mark proprietary quote mark may preclude them from being incorporated into the final solicitation. This announcement should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day. Registration Instructions: Interested participants must pre register for the Industry Day via email to brett.p.allen3.civ@mail.mil. Please submit the following information for each individual no later than close of business 17 April 2015 to pre-register for Industry Day. A maximum of three (3) individuals per company will be permitted to register/attend. Telephone requests will not be accepted. 1.Individual attendee's full name 2.Individual attendee's e-mail address 3.Company name 4.Company Cage Code 5.Indicate your Company size (large or small business) 6.Telephone number 7.U.S. Federal or state issued photo ID card required at Industry Day check-in 8.Do you wish to have your company name included on a list of attendees to be distributed to Industry Day attendees? When submitting registration information, please include quote mark AMMPS Industry Day Registration quote mark in the email subject line. Directions and additional information will be provided to the registrants. There is no registration fee. One-on-One Session Instructions: Optional one-on-one sessions will be available; requests must be submitted during registration. One-on-One sessions will be a maximum of 45 minutes and may consist of a presentation by the requesting organization to include company background and ideas/questions/concerns meeting the AMMPS requirements. All presentation materials must be provided via email NLT 24 April 2015. Question Submittal Instructions: Prior to Industry day, please be advised that you may submit questions regarding the AMMPS Industry Day via e-mail brett.p.allen3.civ@mail.mil NLT 17 April 2015. Use the following format for your question submittals: 1.E-mail subject line should read quote mark AMMPS Industry Day Question. quote mark 2.Submit questions in an organized manner directly in the e-mail text. Label each question with a general subject matter reference. 3.Keep questions brief and to the point. 4.Do not send information marketing a company's capabilities. An opportunity to submit written questions will be provided during Industry Day. Industry Day attendees will be instructed to submit their questions on 5x8 cards (5x8 cards will be provided). A Request for Information (RFI) will be posted no later than four weeks after Industry Day. This will include results of the Industry Day questions and answers. This announcement should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day.
