Responses to questions will be provided in a timely manner via e- commerce. **Attachment 7- DD254 will be posted once received. ___________________________________________________________________________ 6 February 2015 Synopsis: Contracting Office: SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic, 1 Innovation Drive, Hanahan, SC 29419-9022 Classification Code: J Subject: Navigation Systems In-Service Engineering Services Solicitation No.: N65236-14-R-0005 Contact Point: Shannon Britt (843) 218-3987 shannon.britt@navy.mil Description: The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic), Charleston has a requirement for technical support for In-Service and emerging Inertial Navigation Systems and Geospatial Information and Services. The range of engineering and technical support services is extremely broad and includes certifying US Navy surface and sub- surface Navigation Systems ready for use, providing system troubleshooting support services for all aspects of US Navy Navigation, originating and maintaining all aspects of logistic documentation, designing/fabricating/testing prototype or experimental navigation systems, testing new and evolving navigation technology, and assisting with ship alteration efforts where required. See posted draft PWS for a more detailed description. Place of Contract Performance: Virginia and California. Set-aside Status: Full and Open A competitive single award cost-plus-fixed-fee with firm-fixed price provisions, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract is anticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330 with a size standard of $38.5 million. The Government estimate for this effort is $98.8M. Performance period is expected to be one (1) year base period with four (4) one-year options. The solicitation release date for this procurement is estimated to be 24 February 2015.
