Description

The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. for a Fluoro Loop upgrade and monitor trolley for a currently owned Axiom Artis Diagnostic System for the William Middleton VAMC in Madison, WI. This software will be fully compatible with the Axiom Artis system and allow health care providers to store and display fluoroscopic sequences. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services to the Contracting Officer by 2:00PM (CST) March 25th 2015. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent electronically to the Contracting Officer using the email address Daniel.rasmussen@va.gov. Responses received before the deadline will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Siemens.
