Description

SOURCES SOUGHT IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This is a Sources Sought announcement for market research purposes only. The information gained will be used to determine potential qualified contractors, preliminary planning and the method of acquisition. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS; therefore no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Army is seeking potential companies who have the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities required to provide 20W Base Stations and accessories. See attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). OTHER INFORMATION: Proposed contract type is Firm Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220 (Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services) with Size Standard of 750 employees. A formal RFQ may be issued with a less than 30 days timeframe. Interested parties are invited to respond to this Sources Sought announcement by submitting via email a CAPABILITY STATEMENT to Theresa Eckstein at theresa.m.eckstein.civ@mail.mil by Tuesday 24 March 2015 at 0900 (9am) Eastern Standard Time. Information to be provided SHALL include, but not limited to the following: 1) Contractor's information: Provide your firms contact information, such as, name and address of firm, phone number and e-mail address; 2) Type of Business: whether Small, Small Disadvantaged, or Large. 3) Techniocal Specifications: This is for Brand Name or Equal products. FAR Part 52.211-6 pertains to this requirement for brand name or equal. If providing an equal product than specifications must accompany quote. CAPABILITY STATEMENTS SHALL NO BE LONGER THAN 5 PAGES IN LENGTH, AND ADDRESS AT MINIMUM THE AFOREMENTIONED. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. Your company must be registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) site.
