Description
A Request for Proposal (RFP), SPE4A715-R-1769 PR 56648479 was issued to establish a firm fixed price, Definite Quantity Firm Fixed price type contract for NSN 1615-00-938-9516, Arm, Rotor Head, Approved sources are Sikorsky Aircraft 78286), P/N: 65105-11019-101, Argencord Machine Corp INC (64724) and Air Industries Machining Corp (8L513) and APEX Machine MFG CO (2V343) with AMC/AMSC 1/C. Solicitation is for a total quantity of 345 each. This definite quantity PR was generated to meet current needs and backorders. This requirement was initially solicited as a simplified procurement under solicitation number SPE4A715Q0701 as the estimated value was under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). However quotes received in response to the Solicitation was priced well over the SAT; therefore it has to be solicited as a formal procurement. Solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set Aside using Full and Open Competition After Exclusion of Sources. This is a Critical Application Item. This is a NAVY Critical Safety Item (CSI) as verified on the CSI Data Viewer and Air Force CSI Lists. Configuration and Export Control apply. Government First Article Testing (FAT) and Production Lot Testing apply as well. Terms for First Article Testing and Production Lot Testing are FOB destination, Inspection Origin / Acceptance Destination. Terms for production delivery are stipulated as FOB Origin with Inspection/Acceptance at Origin. First Destination Transportation applies. The Delivery Objective is 120 days for the Delivery of Government First Article, 30 days for Testing and Evaluation, 120 days for Production Lot Testing and 472 days for the Production Quantity. The requested total delivery would be 712 days. Delivery is based on 20% of the PLT.
